Oyez: Ensemble Comedy Workshop

For writers and performers of comedy for stage, film, and TV. Join our group as we develop skills in:
- Improvisation
- Physical comedy
- Character building
- Scene creation
- Comic storytelling
Writers will become familiar with the comic strengths of our performers and develop sketches and proto-sitcoms to suit, as is done for television. They will then see their work performed.
Performers will learn how to support one another and the scene, create quirky characters, get the most out of a script, and think on their feet.
Writers and performers will work together to create memorable stories and situations which will be staged for live productions later in the year. Let’s find out how funny we all are!

Workshop begins: 6:00-7:30pm Thursday 30 April and for this term will go 8 weeks. First workshop is FREE!
